Alex has cut and / or coloured my hair a few times now and have always been impressed with how lovely she is, even when she’s juggling 2 or 3 clients. Her colouring skills are brilliant and her cuts have always been perfect. Today’s root touch-up was no exception. Thank you, Alex.

Not really enjoyable - I waited 20 minutes after the colour for a dry off/blow dry & no-one came to finish the job.
I was told I had to wait until a stylist was free - Apparently too busy one client left sitting there!
I left, but was still charged $170 for a re-growth colour.

My color today was good the girl who washed my hair was the best I've had ay your salon. Very thorough and was one of the only girls to take the time to try to remove all the stain on my forehead. Very happy to have her again sorry I forgot her name. Dark hair long nails.

Outstanding service

I had a great first experience here at MM. Compared to some of the very overpriced and poor quality salons I have visited in Perth this was definitely not the case. Jarrod was so lovely to deal with during my initial consult. He was genuine and realistic in matching my expectations and gave me an overall colour and style that I absolutely loved. Courtney must also be acknowledged here in the cut she gave me. Her manner and attention to detail was second to none and her wavey blow dry is a force to be reckoned with! Notably, I love how the salon uses kerastase products at the basin instead of the often cheap shampoos I’ve known salons to use. They are not at all pushy with the add ons ie treatments, and completely leave it to the consumer. And all this you’d imagine would cost a pretty penny.....but certainly not...the price was very reasonable indeed! I will definitely be going back. Thanks MM.

I have been attending Maurice Meade Garden City for a few years now.. Alex has been doing my colouring for most of that time and I am happy to say Alex is amazing. Very professional, friendly, attentive and incredibly talented. I also see Ivan every second trip for cut and style. Again Ivan is very professional, friendly and attentive. They are both extremely focused on achieving a beautiful end result. Maurice Meade are extremely lucky to have such awesome team members and I hope they are appreciated by their employer as much as I appreciate theIr services.

As being a more senior Gent that has just a regular half all over, i was given a first class service, at a pleasant and comfortable pace. Most other establishments i visit, you are in and out as quick as possible. You went over and above the service i have been accustomed too, and i look forward to my next visit to your salon.

Thank you Maurice for this voucher. I feel like a queen until one lady start to dry my hair. She didn’t know how she can dry properly my hair. My hair was still wet when I left this salon. I don’t want to complain but this point of this visit was bad.
I hope I will receive another chance to visit one of the Maurice salons

I walked in on a Sunday without and appointment and hoping to get a colour and style and was able to get in. I cannot give enough praise to Kianah for my colour and Sinead for my cut and style. Thanks so much to you both, I left feeling a million dollars.

I visited another salon who achieved the colour look I was after for my ends however the roots made me look like a zebra it was horrible. I visited the lovely ladies at Garden City who spent the time listening to what I wanted and toned the roots down, dryed it off to make sure I was happy with it and it still wasn't where I wanted it to be so toned it again. I am so happy and will definitely be returning for future colour services

Justin is unique in the manner in which he delivers service to me and all his clients in hairdressing. He manages to give every client a personal experience whilst at the same time ensuring his staff are also attending to other clients. He somehow does this with ease and professionalism whilst working on your own of head. He is unfailing in this delivery. Always a pleasure to go to Maurice Meads.

I've been going to Maurice Meade Garden City for years now (following the closure of Carousel, which I had been going to for years before). The staff are always friendly and down to earth and they're great at what they do. The salon can get very busy and hectic at times though, and with so many staff and clients crammed in it can get a little chaotic. The staff would definitely benefit from having a larger salon to work in, given its popularity and large client base. I'm sure they wouldn't mind a few more basins too!

A funny story: a couple of years ago I got it into my head that it would be a good idea to try tidying up my hair myself with the set of clippers I had at home (my hair grows uber quickly so I have to get it tidied up every fortnight). I made a complete mess of it and was distraught to the max. I phoned the salon the next day and, despite them having a full schedule and being booked out, they told me to come in before the salon opened and they were able to fix my hair up so I could go to work that day. That's how awesome these guys are!

From the moment I went there with my son, the girls were friendly and helpful in settling my 18 month old for his haircut. Rebecca managed to do an amazing job and I even managed to get whisked away to wash my hair and be confident that Magnus was in good hands. He didn’t cry once and was smiling the whole time as the girls were fab with him. Alex did a great job of my cut too even with my son on my lap for the end! 2 very happy customers who will be back again :)
