No happy with hair colour . And didn't wash it properly . I had some bad reaction from the hair colour . My scalp was burning all night couldn't sleep . My scalp all Sore and blistered and some discharge from the wound . ???????

Firstly my hair coloured almost black after discussing the fact I need my hair lighter because of grey outgrowth. Then they offered to fix it by putting in more foils and covering that with blood red. Resulting in a screaming red hair colour which was never my goal. The first colour stylist telling me people think they know better.
The second attempt explaining that the colour turned that red because of refoiling for the second time. If you know that would be the outcome why do you put pure red on bleached foils. Then everybody got really sour and offended because I complained about beetroot red hair. They allocated the shampoo girl to dry off my hair and she had no idea what she was doing. I then continued to blow dry my own hair after she arrogantly told me that I did not pay for a blow dry so she’s just so drying my hair off. Doesn’t matter how she does it.
Pathetic and very disappointed because I go to ME and pay a bucket full of money then to be treated by these unqualified people and then they are the ones having the attitude

The dry off and shampoo did let down the experience for me .

I came in today to treat myself with the $175 package and was confronted with a confusing upsell? When I was asked what I would like done I said whatever is included in the package would be great. After declining the upsell I believe I was treated like a second rate customer. The colourist attitude seemed to change from that point on. She did not say anything to me while putting on the product and when it was time to rinse off she asked a junior staff member to do this. When the junior staff member asked her was she going to check the colour when she bought me back to my chair she simply said no. At the completion of my cut and blow dry with Ivan (who I was happy with )she did not come back to see if I liked the colour? Ive never had any issues in the past with MM but this is the first time I feel let down.

I am a return customer and have been pleased with the results of my visits every time. Ivan stepped in to become my stylist recently after my previous stylist left the company.

Great Manager - Great staff

He’s was pretty rushed and removed twice the amount I asked him to. The haircut itself isn’t bad but wasn’t what I had envisioned. It seemed like he really didn’t want to be there, it really hurt when he blow dried my hair he was staring off elsewhere and not looking at where he was pulling my hair. Also left me for 15 mins after the hair wash I didn’t really know what was going on and it was a bit chilly. Gives totally awesome head massages though!

Ivan has always cut my hair. I wouldn’t let anyone else cut my hair. He’s very professional and does an amazing work with my hair. He has great knowledge of the hair products that suits my hair type. All his recommendations has worked to suit my hair. My daughter also gets her haircut from Ivan

Worst blow dry and wash I ever had. Nails of girl washing were too long and kept digging g into my head and pulling my hair. The same girl blow dried my hair and kept getting my hair tangled in the brush and having to pull out lots of my hair to get it out of the brush . The woman at the side of me looked at me through the mirror with horror and the receptionist cane over to ask the blow dry girl if she was ok.

Although the stylist was lovley she just did what she wanted and not what I requested. I asked for a trim as I have been trying to grow my hair, she gave me a severe concave bob and cut at least 7cm off my shoulder length hair it’s now so short it’s at the nape of my neck. A trim with a bit of style is not cut all the length off without consulting. I couldn’t see the back of my hair and if I had of realised she was hacking inches of my hair of and giving me a dated style I would have immediately asked her to stop but I only realised what she had done when she put the mirror to the back of my head. The reason you select a more expensive salon is you hope the stylist will actually LISTEN and CONSIDER your hair requests. I think Salon Express would have done a better job.

My Granddaughter says that her grandmother likes to have amazing hair every day. I love my Maurice Mead Experience and enjoy all the friendly attention from all the staff. This is my time out and I look great as a result.
Justin is the best. My husband says he likes that Justin makes me happy because he is happy when I am happy.

For me going to have my hair cut is more than a visit to the hairdresser. I love coming here as everyone’s so friendly and there is a good atmosphere. Love the fact that I get offered coffee as soon as I get settled

Happy with the cut which was really just a good trim, no restyling was needed but the colour was much darker than the picture I was shown so not happy with that!

Upon arrival I was greeted and felt welcome, I was given a gown and shown to my seat. I was provided with 2 hot drinks and even offered a third, I was also offered magazines. Alex is my colourist, she is friendly, knowledgeable, professional, talented and I’m really fortunate to have her perform magic on my hair every 3 weeks. I had a relaxing treatment today, followed by a ‘dry off’. I then decided my fringe was a bit long and requested a fringe trim, which was done by Courtney. The checking out process was friendly and efficient. I can’t wait for my next appointment in 3 weeks.

Poorly managed Colour Refresh service by *****. I had been recommended to return within 4 weeks of having foils for a $75 colour refresh. This resulted in a disagreement between the stylist who had previously coloured and cut my hair and ***** who was doing my refresh. I was told bluntly by ***** that the refresh is not for when you've had foils but only for tints, the refresh is apparently a toner. This was not clear even between the staff or clearly explained in the Blonde Booklet. I was made to feel like it was somehow 'my fault' and I was asking for something I wasn't entitled to. The service that followed was done seemingly grudgingly and without explanation and in silence. I was left sitting longer than anticipated for the colour to be washed out (45-50 mins) although told it would be 30 mins. There was no follow-up checking of the colour or with myself.

Georgia coloured my hair and I was very happy. Then I had a it dryed off as I have once before.
When I went to pay the receptionist really got in my face. Georgia came over and again I told her as I had told the receptionist I was happy. Then the receptionist went on to say about my hair dry off and I said it was ok. She went on to say that all they do is dry it off and I could have it blow dryed but I said no because I didn’t want to pay for one. Then she said I can see by your face your not happy. I said well I know you get what you pay for, she replied well that’s it you didn’t pay for it.
I paid my bill cancelled the next two apts I had booked. I said I was going on a trip but I should have said the truth. I won’t be back.
